Recognizing that its logo was beginning to show its age, Greater Mankato Growth sought to update it. Rather than creating an entirely new logo, Lime Valley proposed to update the typography while retaining the icon. This way the organization’s logo could maintain continuity while also reflecting its commonly used abbreviation “GMG”. Lime Valley designers worked through numerous iterations to finally arrive at the desired concept.
The result was a logo that not only maintained the organization’s core identity, it provided a new level of excitement to the brand. The updated logo was well received by the organization, as well as its members.
